Enchanted Scythe: Blood    

The Blood Scythe has dark-red runes etched into the surface of the blade.

 

When this terrible scythe strikes flesh, up to 10% of the damage inflicted will also cause blood-loss damage if the target fails its Avoidance-Roll:

Damage: Normal damage for a Scythe (+ 1-D8 per rank).

History: Unknown.

Notes: There is a 10% chance of this being a Greater Blood Scythe, which will consume blood-points of the target struck, even if the strike does not penetrate armor to the flesh, or the armor turns the strike. If blocked by a hand-held shield, the defender will have 2 chances to succeed the Avoidance-Roll. Value of the Greater Blood Scyth: 50 Electrum per maximum blood-point loss. Example: 2-D6 would be worth 12 x 50 Electrum, 1-D6 would be worth 6 x 50 Electrum, Etc.
