Cemetery, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
I fled the cemetery, knowing it had seen me. For weeks after, and still to this day, I cannot get this image out of my head. Beware the Cemetery!
Evil Scarecrow, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
I will never enter a corn field again, after my experience with the Scarecrow in that wretched place. If you don't believe what I'm telling you, go and find out for yourself. It's alive, I tell you. And no, I had not had one bit to drink.

Spooky Tree #7, By njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
It seemed, I could not escape the confrontation with at least one of these living organics. And so, a battle commenced, in which I was the victor, though, due to the aches and pains, caused by the beating I received, I felt as though I had been defeated.
Spooky Tree Family #10, By njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
At times they roam the forest in groves. These are to be avoided when traveling alone.
Spooky Tree in Cemetery, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
On the third evening within the Cemetery, I observed a Nightshade Tree conversing with a dark, cloaked figure, who I could not identify. Above the two circled a Shadow Raven. I quickly realized these were not just mindless creatures we were up against -- these three were in company, just as I was in company with four others! I quickly stole back to my comrades and reported what I had seen.
Spooky Tree in Cemetery, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
This was one of the animated trees within the Cemetery which we avoided, if at all possible.
Spooky Trees #6, By njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
I was wandering through the Forest Wilderlands upon the continent of Jarshen when I first happened upon these nightmarish creatures. Backing to a safe distance, I observed them with cautious interest.
At length, I decided to avoid them, and continued on my way to Elven Sanctuary.
Well, fate had a very different plan for me that evening . . .
Spooky Trees Fighting #8, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
I did learn one valuable bit of information about these creatures. They do not discriminate with the victims they choose, for - it made me laugh - I witnessed two of these fiends battling each other before my journey came to an end.
Also, I do not suspect any evil tendencies from these strange creatures. With my observations, I believe these them to be naturally instinctive, similar to the Hagrish Fiends I studied long ago when my travels took me into the heart of the Shattered Lands.
The Trees Have Eyes, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
I went into the graveyard and beheld the most unusual creature. I've been there many times since, and have never seen it again. Now, I begin to doubt myself; was I dreaming, or did I actually encounter such a creature? I must continue my search, lest I be mocked the remainder of my days. I know what I saw!
Wandering Cemetery Ghoul, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
Thought they fell before us, and more easily than many horrors encountered in the Cemetery, their attacks were vicious and lethal. We were victorious, but at the heavy cost of losing two of the five in our company.
Zombie Mona Lisa, njbeanie24
Medium: Pencil/Ink
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
At nightfall, we entered the Graveyard. Even as we entered, there issued up an inhuman, ghastly moan. Fear instantly swept through our hearts, and through the un-living mists it came. Without the Gate Key, we had no choice but to engage this macabre foe and win . . . or perish.
Unicorn, njbeanie24
Medium: Colord Pencil
Type: ACEO (Art cards, editions and originals)
We traveled beyond the borders of the Enchanted Forest. After many days travel, we began running low on provisions. One among us, our hunter, was asked by the others, as well as myself, to hunt for food. He refused, stating he would kill nothing in this wondrous place. As he spoke these words, a Unicorn came to us, fading into view before our eyes. Instantly, the hunter dropped to one knee, setting his bow between he and this splendorous animal, and placed his hand upon his heart.
"Arise", she spoke softly. "You would sacrifice your own life to keep safe my homeland. I watched you all, and I commend you, hunter, for your dedication to preserve this land, and the inhabitants therein. Come, I will show you how to find food in this sacred forest without committing offence. Come."
We followed the Unicorn, all in silence . . . most ashamed, not daring to look the unicorn in the eyes. She led us to a part of the forest, clad in eternal summer, wherein many fruit trees and a large garden was tended by Dryads, Sylphs and other enchanted creatures.
That day, we were saved by a hunter's commitment not to hunt.
