Oracles (Hand):

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hand of Oblivion:

This oracle appears as a long-fingered, dehydrated hand with 1" fingernails.
As the "Reveal Eye" replaces the eye, so must this oracle replace the hand.
When used, the character will hold up his or her hand (the Hand of Oblivian, not the player's real hand), and shout, "Oblivion!". All creatures within the Area of Effect, which are 40 levels below the level of the character, will be instantly slain by the accelerated hand of atrophy (they will age 500 years in 3 turns (15 secons). There is no avoidance for this powerful enchantment, but but check for resistances and immunites, if creatures possess such abilities. All other creatures are not effected by this enchantment.

Personal cost for using the Hand of Oblivian:
     1. No experience-points are earned for slaying creatures.
     2. For every 10 creatures slain, the user will permanently lose 1 damage-point in all areas of his or her body. These damage-points are freely given to empower the Hand of Oblivian, so they are not retrieveable.
     3. One will instantly be noticed by an UnHoly, sentient creature of Jahthein or Jahtha status, and will be approached at some point in time with an offer to serve under his, her or its dominion. Refusal will gain unbridaled enmity of that creature (until either that creature is slain, or a truce can be negociated).
     4. If this hand is used on sentient innocents, that character cannot choose to be good. Restitution is possible, but very difficult. If this hand is used by a good character, on evil, or unholy creatures, this effect will not be taken into consideration, unless the character was not provoked to use the Hand of Oblivian.
