Enchanted Weapon: (Trident: Merinda's)    

The prongs of this trident are etched with glistening ocean-dark-blue runes.

 

Merinda’s Trident enables the wielder to control water.

Ability and/or Spell-Points to manipulate water: 12 (you can use both)

 

For every point of strength a character expends, water can be wielded and manipulated in the measurement of 10'x10'x10'. This is not a permanent strength drain, but will effect you in a natural manner.

 

Example:

I get a bonus of 1-D4 damage for having a 25 strength (as stated in the Strength section of the Character Sheet). I choose how much water I wish to manipulate by how many strength points used, and so choose to expend (lower my strength by) 3 points, controlling 10'x10'x10' x3 = 30'x30',30' mass of water. I now have a 22 strength until my strength returns. I am weakened, but not too badly. I will recover 1 strength point per 24 hours as long as I get uninterrupted sleep.

Water can be moved, sculpted, parted, lifted, funneled, swirled, Etc., but must remain connected to a permanent surface (the water must be grounded, like the roots of a plant).

 

Water controlled in this manner can be manipulated as the wielder of the trident wishes. Game Master: The outcomes and possibilities in wielding the power of Merinda's Trident is basically endless. You will be the deciding factor with all rulings for this enchantment.

Immunities: Living water.

Note: As the water is being controlled, if the wielder is struck for 1+ points of damage, a successful avoidance-roll Vs. “Mental-attack” must be rolled to keep control of the water.

 

Special: There is a 10% chance of this being Greater Merinda's Trident, which will control a 20'x20'x20' volume of water per 1 strength point expended. Value: 8 White-Gold

 

Useable: Permanent (as a weapon).

Value: 4 White-Gold.
