Enchanted Shuriken: Explosive    

The Explosive Shuriken has blackened runes etched into its entire surface.

 

When this star strikes a target it will explode, causing "Damage" to all within the "Area of Effect".

Avoidance-Roll: Yes: vs. "Dodge" (-60 on the Defensive roll).

                            Note: A creature MUST be able to move enough spaces to dodge this.

 

Damage: This shuriken will do up to a certain amount of damage in the initial

                strike area (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100). It will instantly

                effect other spaces surrounding the initial strike area, carrying a

                wake of instant destruction outward in a full circle.

 

                Damage determination: Divide the initial amount of damage the

                shuriken causes in the initial strike area by 50% for every space

                out until 1 point of damage is caused. See: "Help note for

                damages" (above).

 

                     Example:

                     1. An Explosion 10 will cause 1-D10 within the initial strike area.

                     2. Damage within the second ring of spaces out will take 1-D5 points of damage.

                     3. Damage within the third ring of spaces out will take 1-D3 points of damage.

                     4. Damage within the fourth ring of spaces out will take 1-D2 points of damage.

                     5. Damage within the fifth ring of spaces out will take 1 point of damage.

 

                Keep dividing the damages in half until you cannot divide any more.

                This is method used to determine explosion effects (always round up).

History: Unknown.

Immunities: Ethereal, Intangible, Mind and Spirit creatures are not effected.

Notes: If this shuriken is dropped on accident, it will have a 30% chance of exploding.
