Enchanted Battle Hammer: Lightning-Bolt    

The Lightning-Bolt Battle Hammer has lightning-shaped, yellow runes etched into the surface of the head.

 

The target struck will be damaged not only by the hammer, but by a one time burst of searing lightning. See: "Damage".

History: Unknown.

Immunities: Lightning-dwelling creatures take only ½ damage, and lightning-using creatures take no damage. Lightning damage is an enchantment (check for enchantment-resistant items to nullify lightning damage from this weapon).

Susceptibilities: Any target encased in metal (armor), or drenched in water, or like liquid, will take x2 damage from the electrical charge.

Lightning-Bolt

 

Shoot a bolt of lightning at the desired target.

Considered this attack as a hurled weapon (+30 Offense).

 

Ability/Spell-Points to shoot lightning-Bolt: 60 spell or ability-points.

- A mix of spell and ability-points can be used to cast lightning Bolt.

 

Area of Effect: 15' Radius.

Avoidance-Roll: Yes: "Dodge".

Target must dodge the lightning-Bolt.

Blocking with a shield will not evade burning damage unless the shield is enchanted against such attacks.

 

Casting Time: Instant.

Damage: 1-D6 (+1-D6 per 3 levels of the wielder).

If a target is wearing metal armor, or the equivalent, maximum damage will occur (best of 3 rolls).

 

Range: 6 spaces (30').
