Enchanted Flail: Necronin's    

Necronin's Flail has festering, writhing gray runes covering the hinged metal plate fixed to the top of the staff.

 

When a Maximum-Strike of +40 over a holy or blessed creature's defensive roll, the creature struck begin writhing terrible agony for 1-D2 turns, unless a successful avoidance-roll vs. "Enchantment" is rolled. Writhing will cause a creature to forfeit offense turn (defense will be at -20).

 

There will be a 10% chance of this being a Greater Necronin's Flail. When a Maximum-Strike of +35 over a holy or blessed creature's defensive roll, the creature struck begin writhing terrible agony for 1-D3 turns, unless a successful avoidance-roll vs. "Enchantment" is rolled. Writhing will cause a creature to forfeit offense turn (defense will be at -25). Value: 3 Yellow-Gold.

 

Avoidance-Roll: vs. “Enchantment”.

Damage: As a normal enchanted flail.

History: Unknown.

Immunities: If a creature is not undead, the flail will cause the normal damage of an enchanted flail of its rank.

Special: None.

Susceptibilities: In the hands of any class but unholy and Necromancers, this flail will cause Orghul's Writhing upon the wielder, forcing the avoidance-roll vs. "Enchantment", or writhe in pain for that turn. This will be checked for every 3rd turn wielding it.
