Enchanted Fist-Spikes: Poison    

The Poison Fist-Spikes have green runes etched into the surface of the spikes.

 

When spikes strike a target for more than 50% damage, that target must make a successful Avoidance-Roll vs. "Poison", or suffer the following pentalties in 1-D3 turns:

 

1. -3 Movement

2. -10 Defense

3. -10 Offense

4. 5% chance of death (one check only). Roll a D20 (a 1 will be instant death). This chance of death only works on targets which are naturally mortal, and need no special weapon to harm it).

Area of Effect: 1 target.

Damage: As the normal damage for fist-spikes.

History: Unknown.

Immunities: Poison-dwelling creatures take only ½ damage, and poison-using creatures take no damage from the poison effects. This is a magical effect that causes poisoning. There is no avoidance-roll vs. “Magic” for this, but magical immunity and resistance may negate the effects of the poison.
