Shard: Luck
The luck Shard is a thin finger-sized shard of crystal that is set into the outer edge of the Talisman Shield. This shard holds Luck points which the holder can use (just as normal Luck is used). The one who uses Luck from this shard will not lose his or her next offensive turn (as is the ruling for using Luck).
- Each shard hold 1-D4 +2 points of Luck.
- The Luck Shard regenerates at a rate of 1 point per day.
- Luck cannot be used to benifit the user of this shard if the creature cannot normally use luck.
- A character may use Luck directly from this shard (without it being in the Talisman Shield, but it will then regenerate at a slow rate of 1 point per moon.
Value: 45 Electrum per Luck.
Question - : Can I use luck off of my Luck Shard for awareness checks?
Answer --- : No. As is the ruling for using Luck, if a character is not aware of something, he or she cannot use luck to succeed this avoidance-roll.
However, the Game Master may see fit to do it for a player for reasons of his or her own.
