Flute: Appeasing
This enchanted item was created to make a way to escape dangerous encounters, for the power of this flute will dispel all aggresions and hostilities.
When this flute is played by a master Entertainer, it will give the player the power to Appease all hostiles within the "Area of Effect".
- This does not make the effected an ally or friend.
- After Appeasing takes hold, if effected hostiles are attacked, the effects of Appeasing will instantly break.
- Stealing treasure from an Appeased target will break Appeasing effect and send the effected into a rage (+10 Defense and Offense for 1-D6 turns).
Area of Effect ---- : All creatures which can clearly hear the flute within
10 spaces (50').
Avoidance-Roll -- : Yes: Pit "Mental-Strength vs. Mental-Strength"
(single roll chance). The player of the flute will
gain a bonus of +10.
Duration ----------- : Up to 240 turns, yet no less than 80.
Effect Time ------- : 1 turn (5 seconds). On the beginning of the 2nd turn,
the targeted must make the required "Avoidance-Roll",
or be Appeased for the "Duration".
Usable ------------- : 1 / 2 moons (60 days). Once used, whether Appeasing is
successful or not, the flute must recharge for 60 days.
Value --------------- : 2 White-Gold.
