Crystal Ball (Surrix):
The only difference between this crystal ball and the Common Crystal Ball is that one can cast spells through it.
Spells cast through the Surrix Crystal Ball will cost the caster x10 spell-points, and resting time will be x10 duration. It is highly taxing to use it in this manner, for each time a spell is cast through this enchanted sphere, the caster must make a successful "Constitution Check" (Constitution = % chance), or complete exhaustion will strike, rendering him or her completely unnable to cast for 3-D8 hours.
If the caster gets comfortable, then speaks the Command words "Tarsha ne mie insha", this item will connect with the caster’s mind. The holder of the item can then (mentally) focus on the place or person desired. If the caster has personally been to that place, or knows that person, he or she will be shown a vision of what is currently transpiring if the Avoidance-Roll is successful.
Note:
If the caster is NOT familiar with the person or place, this item will only have a 1% chance per 5 points of intelligence above 5 to be seen (this can only be attempted 1 / moon (30 days).
Area of Effect: The area or person desired to be seen. The further away something is, the more blurred the image will become, but an Awareness "Vision" (% dice-roll + Vision) roll of 100+ will cause the images to focus in more clearly. The higher above 100 rolled, the more clear it becomes, and a 00 roll will always bring perfect clarity.
