Disposition - : The Minotaur, half man, half bull, is a dark creature of ancient legend. It's mind is quickly filled with suspicion and hatred for any other than it's own kind. It's distrust for mankind is complete. It is a very rare thing to make this creature an ally, or to part company with it without a fight to the death ensuing.

Special Defenses:

Natural Parry: The Minotaur will attempt to parry weapon strikes with its horns. This will only damage its horns if the parried weapon-strike deals out damage equal to, or greater, than the damage-points of the Minotaur's horns (each horn will have 2-D20 +20 damage-points per level of the Minotaur). In any case, the Minotaur's horns will turn a weapon strike on a % roll of 46+, thus receiving no harm (just as armor does).

Special Offenses:

Charge: If this creature inflicts 70%+ damage on a charge strike (with its horns) its opponent must pit its strength against it (single roll check) and win or be stunned for 1-D3 turns.

-3-D6 to Defense and Offense for the duration of the stun effect. This stun effect stacks up to 3 times.

 

Charge must begin at least 2 spaces (10') from the Minotaur's intended target, or it cannot charge.

 

Horn Proficiency: +1 offense per level when attacking with horns.

 

Rage: If this creature causes 70%+ damage with an axe, it will break into a battle fury rage, gaining +1 attack per turn for 1-D3 turns. While Rage is in effect, damage will be at x2 and the Minotaur will gain a +15 to attack rolls with an axe. This ability does not stack, but will refresh each time Rage occurs. Note: Rage can occur even if its axe is turned by armor or shield.
