Trade-Skills (Lumberjack):
The Lumberjack is a wood harvester. They are adept at farming vast forests with skill, re-planting two trees for
every tree cut down, replenishing forests for future timber as they harvest.
Note: There is no mastery for this trade-skill.
Prerequisites:Trade-Skill: “Riding”.

Training Time: 16 weeks (112 days).
Training note: This is an averaged time to complete the full training for Lumberjack. However, the training time
can vary according to the student's Strength as follows:
For every point of Strength above 30, the training time will be reduced by two days (minimum 56
days to train).
For every point of Strength below 24, the training time will be increased by two days.
Training Cost: 7 white-gold per day of training + the cost of all equipment.

Your Strength will be the % chance to successfully preform Lumberjack Techniques as follows:
Lumberjack Techniques:
Guide: Guide a team of Horses, Mules, or Oxen without error in an operation (i.e., hauling logs, pulling loads, etc).
Harvest: Fell a tree on the exact spot you wish.
Trim: Cut the branches off of a fallen tree and prepare it by hooking it up to a team to be hauled.
Example: If you have a 30 Strength, you will have a starting 30% chance to succeed at each of the Lumberjack Techniques.
For every 3 attempts to successfully Guide, Harvest, or Trim, the % chance to do the same, or similar, successfully will increase by +1. You must keep a log of the three Lumberjack Techniques successfully completed (i.e.,Guide, Harvest, or Trim).
Remember: Only when you succeed at a specific Lumberjack Technique (Guide, Harvest, or Trim), will that area of expertise increase by +1. You must keep a Lumberjack Techniques log like this:
Harvest ------- : 56%
Team Guide - : 80%
Trimming ----- : 76%
Example:
If you have a 30 Strength, and successfully Harvest a tree, landing it in an exact spot, you will gain +1 added to your
current 30% chance the next time you attempt to Harvest another tree (you would then have a 31% chance). If you
Harvested another tree successfully, your skill would increase from 31% chance to 32%.
Note: Even though one can achieve a 96% success Lumberjack Techniques, this is based upon work conditions. In other words, this 96% chance will be adjusted with changes in the working environment, fatigue, incline, space to work, weather, etc.
